Due to the Department of Education’s delays in FAFSA processing, colleges/universities did not begin receiving completed FAFSA materials from students until early April, 2024. MSU's Office of Financial Aid has begun sending completed aid packaged to students. Once it is available, you can review the details fo your aid package under the Financial Aid tab in your MyInfo account. In the meantime, we encourage you to utilize MSU’s Real Deal Tuition Calculator to establish an estimated cost of attendance for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Test Optional
Test scores are no longer required for admission or scholarship consideration at Montana State University for the foreseeable future. Please note that other academic information, including a self-reported cumulative GPA, is still required. Students can still submit ACT/SAT scores for math and writing placement purposes.
