Hi, I’m Jenna and I am excited to work with you at the Bracken Center. I have both real-world and academic experience in marketing, management, finance, and sales and I earned both my BS and MBA at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. I have helped buy and turn around a failing consumer goods company, I worked in high-tech in Silicon Valley, I have advised large pension funds on where they should invest their assets, I have TA’d Management classes at Wharton and I have worked with private schools to develop their fundraising strategies and increase their donations.

I am a classically trained opera singer, and I am a card-carrying Screen Actors Guild member. I was a professional actor in Los Angeles for nearly two decades, mainly working in commercials (I once did a DirecTV ad where I sang opera to Monty Python’s John Cleese while he was in a bathtub; it was surreal.)

Throughout all these careers, writing and effective communication skills have formed the foundation of my work and I now focus on writing novels in addition to my volunteer work as a CAP mentor and writing coach at Bozeman High School.

My varied career and training in business and the arts gives me a unique perspective that I believe Jabs students will appreciate. So, come in and talk to me about writing, presentations, cover letters, your career goals or anything, really. Don’t be surprised if I share deep and meaningful life-lessons like why active voice matters, my love of the semi-colon and why “South Park” embodies peak satire, akin to Jonathan Swift’s work. I hope to see you soon!
