Who:  Brett A. Sokolow is one of the leading national experts on higher education law as well as high-risk campus and school prevention, health and safety issues. He is widely considered to be one of the foremost experts on Title IX compliance in the US.  Mr. Sokolow is a risk management consultant, author, editor, and higher education attorney admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from the College of William and Mary (1993), and a Juris Doctorate from the Villanova University School of Law (1997). 

Sokolow serves as the President and CEO of The NCHERM Group, LLC, one of the nation’s largest higher education law firms and risk management consulting practices. The NCHERM Group serves as legal counsel to more than seventy-five (75) colleges and universities, and has served as counsel to more than 200 campuses since the firm was founded in 2000. In addition to its legal representation, The NCHERM Group provides consulting services to an additional 400+ campuses and schools each year.
