Steve @ Spectrum Labs Tour, meeting led by Betsy Asserson
First time back in AIH166!

1. Whitney Milhoan: Student Insurance Updates

Insurance is NOT coupled with registration anymore - it is a separate task in MyMSU and THEY have to complete it!!
When you log in, go to tasks calendar --> drop down task menu
If it doesn't show up there, it is under Student Billing and Payment
Deadline: 15th day of class - then the bill is pushed through to student accounts
• Task is assigned to currently enrolled students and admitted students for the next term
• If the students hasn't paid or confirmed, the insurance will stay on their bill - they will need to contact the student insurance office.
• Student Health fee goes on at 7 credits, but health insurance can start @ 6 credits
• Students are still eligible for Montana Medicaid if they decline the insurance
• ***Handouts to help communicate the changes to our teams and students
• As of right now, there should be ~1100-1300 enrolled and right now there are ~3000, so students need to know

2. Becca Burgmeier: Withdrawal Procedure Updates from the Registrar

Changes in the process:
Old: DOS-Registrar-Financial Aid-Student Accounts (all 4 offices would check a student's process)
Students can still have an outstanding bill, even if they withdraw w/in 15 days
New: SEMESTER Withdrawal, not university withdrawal
ARGOS reports available for advisors
Student Wellness has access
Website update: refund timeline terminology change ("adjustment," rather than "refund")
Online form for students links to
Becca will receive all withdrawals and meet with students first
Consequences of withdrawing and how to come back!
Becca met with about 170 students this past fall
