A New Way to Sign In!
Updated Username Format: Beginning Monday May 12, 2025 ·
- Students: You will need to use NetID@student.montana.edu to sign in to student resources that
formerly used the "long" login (i.e., email, wifi, O365 and Canvas).
- Student Employees: You will need to use NetID@msu.montana.edu to sign in to student employee resources.
(Previous Username Format: “firstlast@msu.montana.edu”)
- Employees: You will need to use NetID@msu.montana.edu to access employee resources.
Changes will be implemented May 10 through May 12, so you may encounter errors if attempting to access campus resources on those dates,
especially likely on May 10 from 6am to noon.

I can Login Into D2L, but I cannot Login into other services like email.There are a few reasons this can occur. To solve this issue, reset your password. How do I set/change my NetID password? If this is not successful, please contact the UIT Service Desk. |
