Chi Omega

Chi Omega is the largest fraternal women’s organization in the United States, with 181 collegiate chapters and over 410,000 total initiates. Specifically, the Sigma Beta chapter of Chi Omega at Montana State University is a well-developed sisterhood that provides both on campus and professional connections, as well as fosters unbreakable bonds within its members. Since its founding, the friendships made in Chi Omega are genuine and last a lifetime.
Chi Omega has a rich history dating back to its founding at the University of Arkansas on April 5, 1895. The five founders created the Psi Chapter of Chi Omega with six main principles in mind (listed below).
The six purposes of Chi Omega:
-
Friendship
-
Career and Personal Development
-
Community and Campus Involvement
-
Personal Integrity
-
Service to Others
-
Academic Excellence and Intellectual Pursuits
Chi Omegas live by these principles and employ them in their lives every single day. Through academic distinction, campus leadership, philanthropy work with Make-A-Wish Montana, and authentic sisterhood, Chi Omega is proud to be a prominent figure in the Bozeman community.
