Instrument Reservation

All instrument reservations in the MSMS facility are performed through Stratocore PPMS via the link below. Please note that you will be unable to book instruments until you have completed an instrument training session with the staff and given user rights.

LC-MS: Metabolomics

15 minutes, 4 samples/hour

Waters BEH Amidwe, Water/Acetonitrile 0.1% Formic acid

LC-MS: Lipidomics

13 minutes, 4.6 samples/hour

Agilent RRHD Eclipse Plus C8

A: 50% acetonitrile, 50% water, 0.1% Formic acid

B: 90% isopropyl alcohol, 10% acetonitrile, 0.1% Formic acid

LC-MS: Small Molecule (Organic Synthesis Confirmation)

10 minutes, 6 samples/hour

Agilent RRHD Eclipse Plus C18, Water/Acetonitrile 0.1% Formic acid

GC-MS: General Screening Method

15 minutes, 4 samples/hour

5 ms column, helium carrier gas

ICP-MS: Total Metals (Environmental)

4 minutes per sample, 15 samples/hour

External Users:

External facility users please use the following form to submit your samples. Please fill in all necessary details in the sample submission form. Failure to provide all the necessary background information on the samples can delay the results. Please email the form to the core facility manager before sending or dropping off any samples. External users require a Testing Services Agreement (TSA).

Acknowledgement

When citing a core facility, please ensure that you are referrencing their Research Resource Identifier (RRID) number, and funding source. A citation example for Mass Spec is provided below:
