The "M" has long been a symbol not only of Montana State University but of the Bozeman community. The "M" is loved and cared for by the students, faculty, and staff of Montana State University.

Rockin' the M is an annual event that takes place in the beginning of the school year to make the “M” sparkle! Meet new friends, show your Bobcat spirit, and take part in a tradition over 100 years old!

  • Where: Bridger Foothills Trailhead
