Location & Visitor Parking

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are numerous construction projects impacting vehicle travel on and around campus. For the latest information about construction areas and road closures, please see this campus map

There is no free parking on campus. The nearest visitor parking is located in the parking  garage just off the southwest corner of 7th and Grant streets. Once parked, note your license plate number, pay at a self-serve kiosk, and proceed north from the parking garage toward the campus core area.

  • Travel through Norm Asbjornson Hall and exit on the south side of Grant Street.
  • Cross Grant Street and continue past the drop‑off and bus loop outside the Strand Union Building (SUB). Veterans Park will be on the opposite side.
  • Continue along the service drive between A.J.M. Johnson Hall and Renne Library, keeping the SUB on one side and Renne Library on the other.
  • At Centennial Mall, turn toward Renne Library and continue approximately 50 feet to the main entrance. MSU Testing Services is located in the basement of Renne Library, Room 19, and is accessed from the library lobby.
