Testing Services will discontinue Scantron grading services at the end of the Spring 2026 semester. MSU offers proven alternatives for multiple-choice exam grading, including Gradescope Bubble Sheets, which improve functionality and more smoothly integrate with existing systems like Canvas.

Gradescope will continue to be supported after Scantron grading phases out. Visit the MSU Gradescope support website for information about upcoming training opportunities, instructor guides and tutorials, and contact information for on-campus assistance.

In addition to reducing duplication, this transition allows Testing Services to redirect resources and maintain efficient operations within the test center. Exam Scoring Coordinator, Silvia Harrington, will continue to contribute to our office by providing administrative and proctoring support.
